No idea where exactly these pictures come from and who has carried out this conversion or is still building it and whether it is even running. But the basic idea of equipping the ugly Toyota Prius with an LS1 V8 engine from the 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS has something. Especially the idea of tuning the engine to 800-1.000PS after installation and thus participating in quarter-mile races spontaneously makes me grin.

We know the following changes:
- Four-cylinder series engine, transmission, battery and other additional hybrid components were thrown out
- Engine mount V8 welded
- Drive shaft tunnel built
- Planned stage 2: Tearing apart the engine and the gearbox and rebuilding with performance parts
- Main goal 800-1000 hp / 9-second quarter mile time
