More CLS is not working! Tuner Prior Design presented the PDV4 widebody aerodynamic kit for all Mercedes W218 CLS Shooting Brake models this summer, and of course we would like to show you a complete conversion vehicle. After Mercedes presented the new CLS (C257) on the platform of the W213 E-Class in the spring, they also announced that there will be no shooting break from the new one. Pity! In our opinion, the shooting break is one of the most beautiful models in the Mercedes repertoire ever.
Prior PDV4 Widebody Mercedes CLS
The absolute highlight is the huge station wagon when you miss the brand new PDV4 widebody aerodynamic kit from Prior Design. In combination with a lowering and a new set of alloy wheels exactly this was made on this copy and the result is breathtaking. The body kit comes with a completely new front apron in the typical AMG style and also brings a front spoiler sword. The highlight, however, are the completely new front fenders.

Not only are they much wider, they also bring powerful gills. For the bonnet, there is an optional add-on with two air vents that impressively round off the mighty appearance from the front. And no less spectacular are the rear widening that absorb the design of the front fenders. The front and rear parts are optically connected by matching side skirts. And of course, the rear view has changed as well. Here there is a new rear bumper including diffuser insert which is also based on the design of the AMG model and also brings AMG tailpipes.

And as mentioned above, the presentation vehicle also received a new set of alloy wheels. Specifically, it is forged wheels of type PD4 which are estimated in 20 inches, and including significant lowering (further details unfortunately unknown) that consistently fill out the wheel arches. This CLS also missed a set of black taillights and also there are plenty of details such as the gills in the fenders, the mirror caps or the rear apron insert in glossy black.
All in all, the PRIOR-DESIGN PDV4 widebody aerodynamic kit is an excellent opportunity to turn the elegant and rare Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake [W218] into an absolute highlight. We do not currently have any more details. If we receive timely information on further changes not mentioned so far, there will of course be an update for this report. - possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
