With the brand new Range Rover Velar (Code name L560) the British off-road vehicle manufacturer Land Rover has succeeded in the next big hit after the Evoque. The Velar was presented at the Geneva Motor Show last March and immediately received huge feedback. Pre-orders are already running and from next September it will be available as the fourth model in the Range Rover series from € 56.400. Land Rover has positioned the Velar between Evoque and Range Rover Sport and thus the competitors are called Volvo XC60 or Jaguar F-Pace. However, this task will be anything but easy. And a top SVR model has already been planned and the V8 from the Range Rover Sport SVR may be available in a slightly slimmed-down version with around 500 hp from next year. If you don't want to wait that long for you, the tuner has it Urban Automotive already published a first virtual preview of an SVR styling package that in conjunction with new alloy wheels makes the Velar appear significantly sportier.

The aggressively designed body kit consists of a new front bumper in the typical SVR look with large air inlets and a spoiler lip as well as a hood that also got air inlets on the right and left. In addition, the Range Rover lettering on the bonnet has been replaced by an "Urban" lettering and a new radiator grille has also been installed. And there were also changes at the rear because here you want to develop a conspicuous diffuser with a sports exhaust system in a 4-pipe design and thus ensure a significantly more massive appearance. And the lettering on the rear has also been replaced by the URBAN initials. Another unmistakable feature is the new wheel set, forged rims in the lush 23 inch format are virtually installed and thanks to a subtle lowering they sit perfectly in the wheel arch. The virtual changes are rounded off by red painted brake calipers.

If the company brings the body kit on the market, the tuner should probably be one of the first to offer the accessories for the new Velar and then put a little hand on the P380 V6 supercharger with its standard 380 PS should wait for the SVR be bearable. Apart from the changes just mentioned, we are not aware of any further planned modifications for the Velar so we leave you alone with the pictures here. 🙂 Should we still get a few details about planned changes, there is of course an update for this post. About the update you will be informed if yours Feed subscribe to. We hope you enjoy watching.
