Some Black Series - "S-APEX" Bodykit on Tesla Model S

After we just give you the virtual preview of Unplugged Performance Tesla Model Y we would now like to have shown with a whole real Continue the vehicle of the tuner. This is not necessarily brand new, but on tuningblog so far not made an appearance and definitely worth a short story. It is the "S-APEX" Tesla Model S Widebody! A common variant of the current that the tuner presented last year to the world public. With the "S-APEX" one has the claim underlined to be one of the leading tuners for vehicles from Tesla Motors. Very much the same as the M-GmbH for BMW or AMG for Mercedes. But the "S-APEX" -Series Bodykit is only available for the "Performance" version of the Model S. One would like to be as exclusive as an AMG "Black-Series" which is always the absolute top model of the AMG series (for example, soon as AMG GT Black Series) as a base.

"S-APEX" with lots of visible carbon

And the body kit is also similar exclusiv. It shows with a lot of carbon fiber, which ensures a spectacular look especially for vehicles with light paint / foiling. At the front, the Model S gets a large widening on both sides for the apron, which also acts as a front spoiler. There are completely new fenders with vents (Sprouting) and also on shapely side skirts with carbon wing factory in the field of wheel arches in front one has thought. The highlight of the extensive add-on parts are definitely the widenings for the rear side walls. They are particularly massive and also hog part of the rear doors. And the rear view of the Model S Performance changes significantly with the body kit. In keeping with the fender flares, they have designed a new apron that brings a huge rear diffuser in carbon fiber.

Of course, a sports exhaust system is missing

Somehow the obligatory sports exhaust system is missing here, which is unusual at first glance. Due to the electric drive, however, a logical consequence. And finally there was also a large spoiler lip for the tailgate that rounds off the rear view in ducktail style. And it goes without saying that such an extensive conversion also requires lowering and a new set of rims. Unplugged Performance therefore built an ultra-light forged wheel set in 20 inches with a carbon rim base and high-gloss black painted rim star on the matt silver / matt gray foiled model S. And a look through the spokes reveals a modified braking system. Here they rely on huge carbon-ceramic brake discs and large brake calipers with a striking red paintwork and "Unplugged" lettering in white. And so that the new wheel set fits perfectly in the wheel arch, there was a significant lowering for the Model S. And finally there was also an extensive upgrade for the interior.

filigree red contrasting seam in the cabin

This is of course, as are the rims, brake or suspension, Optional, Here you have every millimeter covered with new leather and Alcantara and also sets with many carbon applications a sporty accent. The highlight is in any case the color red. It can be found on the seats and the seat belts and is also scattered as a filigree contrasting seam in the entire cabin. The "S-APEX" Bodykit on Model S has always succeeded and impressively shows how sexy an electric car can be. If we receive timely information on other changes not mentioned before, there is of course as always an update for this report.
