Based on the current Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Ford Performance has released a new racing version for the Trans Am, NASA and SCCA Club races. The Mustang is called Shelby FP350S and of course is not approved for the road. He thus enters the legacy of the Shelby GT350R-C and GT4 and has all the essentials it needs in racing. Specifically, this means that the Mustang is equipped with a 5,2l V8 naturally aspirated engine and thus has the optimal basis for proper propulsion. Of course, safety regulations are meticulously adhered to by the vehicle having, for example, the prescribed six-point FIA roll cage or a high-performance brake system.

Of course, the Shelby also has a specially developed racing chassis and the Sparco bucket seats have also been adapted and developed for the FP350S. Other important criteria such as a removable racing steering wheel or the heavily modified Tremec six-speed manual gearbox are self-evident. At the rear there is a fully adjustable carbon rear wing and also the special lightweight aluminum rims in 19 × 10.5 inch and 19 × 11 inch format it so only for the FP350S.
