Tesla Model S Plaid with widebody kit from Competition Carbon!

If you think that you can't conjure up an extroverted vehicle out of a Tesla Model S Plaid, you should change your mind quickly. Competition carbon from the USA is presenting what is probably the most eye-catching and extreme body kit that has ever found its way onto a Tesla at this year's SEMA 2022 in Las Vegas. Visitors to the Toyo booth will hardly believe what you can get out of a Tesla.

Announced via renderings!

Already months before the presentation at the SEMA in Las Vegas Teaser images circulated online of the project, allowing the tuning community to prepare for something very special to emerge. Almost every component of the body has been modified by Competition Carbon. The front has a particularly extreme design and features large air intakes, an XXL front splitter and a completely redesigned front flap. Side air intakes in the style of a super sports car, powerful side skirts and ultra-wide wheel arches also give the Model S Plaid an extra dose of aggressiveness.

The restyling kit is clearly visible, especially from the side, and the vehicle looks like it has just come out of the gym. Drop center rims with BBS honeycomb look and bicolor finish ensure a classic flair on the doped e-mobile. At the rear, a gigantic diffuser organizes more downforce and a discreet rear spoiler in BMW M look improves the otherwise sober rear. The taillights have also been tinted to create a bold contrast to the silver-grey exterior colour. Heavily darkened windows and an obligatory sticker on the windscreen are of course also essential to demonstrate the car's sportiness.

Electric 1033 hp for a hallelujah!

Competition Carbon hasn't changed anything about the drive, but that's not necessary. With a breathtaking 1.033 hp in the series, the e-mobile accelerates from 2,1 to 0 km/h in an incredible 100 seconds and the propulsion only ends at a gigantic 322 kilometers per hour. This makes the Model S Plaid one of the fastest electric vehicles ever. A 170 kWh battery and three electric motors ensure the incredible performance and still a range of around 560 kilometers suitable for everyday use with a normal driving style.

Our conclusion on the Tesla Model S Plaid with widebody kit:
