Without a cap: Toyota GR Supra Sport Top SEMA project!

As part of Toyotas second SEMA show did the Japanese yesterday 2021 GR Supra Sport Top Project vehicle released. A Single copy as a Tribute to the Supra models of the 90s removable roof and a new copy after the hugely popular GR Supra as a Heritage Editionwho have favourited the last year SEMA show rocked. The GR Supra Sport Top was particularly popular due to the huge response to the Heritage edition built. With this, Toyota's motorsport garage brings the celebrated edition to the next level. The removable roof is of course immediately reminiscent of that MKIV and is probably considered by every Supra fan Option for future Models desired. But it is no targa (T-Top model) because in the middle remains "no“Stand on the jetty. However, the vehicle on display is just one Prototyp as a Open air creation. Series production is apparently not yet planned.

The basis is a vehicle of the type mentioned GR Supra Heritage Edition with the known changes to the body (Body kit with extensions, new aprons, air openings etc.) and also the performance increase on about 500 PS is built in. But now everything is paired with one removable two-part roofto let the sun into the cabin. According to Toyota, a lot of thought has been given to how the conversion can be implemented. But what about the structural integrity maintain? With reinforcements! KC's paint shop was for that BASF paint responsible and wrapped the unique piece in the OEM GR Supra color "Absolute zero white". The 2020 GR Supra Sport Top Edition and the 2019 GR Supra Heritage Edition have many identical Upgrades, but both are anyway unique and remember the earlier Supra vehicles.
