With a length of 5,10 meters and a width of 2,10 meters, the current Mercedes GL is probably one of the largest off-road vehicles on the German market. If you take the extended 5,70 meter variant of the Cadillac Escalade with an empty weight of 2,65 tons as a comparison object and give it a massive body kit including fender flares all around and a huge set of 24 inch aluminum rims, the GL looks almost puny against the American. This is what happened some time ago by the team around Forgiato Wheels from sunny California. The tuner modified an Escalade all around and radically nipped the question of understatement in the bud.
After the tuning cure that the Escalade was allowed to endure, it is now much more massive, more individual and visually more dynamic than the production version. If you are thinking of buying an Escalade in the future or already own one, the Forgiato Wheels variant may be a good tuning template or, if you live in America, it is certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model. As already mentioned at the beginning of the article, we have received some new information about the Cadillac Escalade from Forgiato Wheels, which of course we have to tell you. The rim manufacturer has put the big Escalade on even larger 26 inch Ventoso-ECL rims, which are somewhat reminiscent of the Vossen Wheels VPS-305T in terms of their design and although they are abnormally large, I think they fit the Escalade. Have fun with the new pictures!
