Prior Design widebody kit on the 2021 VW Golf GTI (MK8)

The Golf GTI will also be top of the class with the MK8 generation, we are sure of that. The Mk7 was almost perfect, the MK8 is perfect! And when it comes to tuning, the MK8 will be in no way inferior to its predecessor. We are sure of that too. The widebody kits were particularly popular on the 7 Series, with the Rocket Bunny probably one of the most extreme. And now Prior Design has an idea, such as a brand new Golf 8 GTI with a few extra muscles looks like. And such a GTI kit could be directly suitable for clubsport, the GTE and maybe also the GTD. And with a few changes maybe even to the Golf R. That means that the profitability for the German tuner would be particularly high. One more reason to think about production as soon as possible.

And compared to the Rocket Bunny Kit for the MK7, that from Prior Design looks much more consistent. We are of the opinion that exposed screw connections are slowly but surely a thing of the past and seamlessly integrated (screwed or glued) Variants will emerge from the shadows. At least we hope so!

The prior rendering shows a modified one on the MK8 GTI apron at the front with a larger air opening and splinters, of course there are those all around Widenings for the fenders including matching Sills and also the newly designed rear apron with laterally distinctive air openings and the aggressive diffuser are the GTI.

Lowering and new aluminum must be!

In addition, Prior Design built a bigger one roof spoiler and of course that is befitting Lowering as well as a matching one wheelset installed. With regard to the rims, the German tuner has a few in-house variants at the start, but of course any other rim can also be combined with the kit. Only that Exhaust System should be revised in our opinion. We would particularly like a pair of integrated trapezoidal end pieces in black or carbon. In principle, however, we really like the virtual aerodynamics package. It doesn't seem excessive or inappropriate. And finally ... Please BUILD!
