From the tuner Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE for short - Tom's River, New Jersey) we have just received the information that the brand new 2020 Yenko / SC Stage 2 Chevrolet Camaro is now also available as a convertible. The performance increase is now also for the convertible and available for the coupe. At least when the 6,2-liter LT1-V8 (it becomes the 6,8 liter LT1 416 CID) and manual manual control are available. As part of the conversion, the tuner donated a compressor, chip tuning and a few other changes to the engine (4340 steel crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons, CNC cylinder head, new
Fuel system and injectors, larger throttle body, exhaust manifold, sports catalytic converter, etc.) and increases the power to a massive 1.000 PS and 1186 NM torque.
Yenko badges for hood and side panels
The body and the interior also receive various Yenko badges, Yenko stickers for the sides and a special SYC hood graphics including SVE hood with power dome made of carbon. A few references to the four-digit performance can then be found on the Camaro. There is also the Magnetic Ride Control suspension, which in the Yenko version is equipped with modified bushings / springs and stabilizers, there is a Brembo 6-piston brake at the front and 4-piston brake at the rear, a new oil cooler, a high-flow -Sport exhaust system, and a new limited-slip differential with differential cooler from SVE. And the subsequently installed 1LE spoiler factory with front splitter and rear spoiler also comes from SVE, which is supposed to provide more contact pressure. In addition, there is a set of 20 inch TORQ THRUST Wheels aluminum rims in black with SYC hub caps and Michelin PS4 tires (295/30 ZR20 & 305/30 ZR20) to establish a proper contact with the road.
Black is standard - everything else is optional
There are optional Recaro Performance sports bucket seats for the cabin, but alternatively the factory seats of the SS variant can also be opened Specialty Vehicle Engineering Design (e.g. in black and white) can be converted. By default, SVE delivers the YENKO / SC® Stage II Camaro 2020 with black paint, but you can also order a completely new paint dress at any time. However, only 25 vehicles are planned as a convertible and another 25 as a coupe with consecutive numbering and certificate for the future owner. So you should be quick.
