The BMW E30 is a masterpiece by BMW engineers and a real legend. Whether convertible, coupe, touring or sedan. The 325i and the rare 325ix (all-wheel drive) and of course the dream car - M3 are particularly popular! The E30 M3 is arguably one of the most legendary cars that BMW has ever built. The built-in S14 four-cylinder engine is so far the only four-cylinder in an M3, and yet it broke all records. The E30 impressed not only with its looks, but also with its advanced technology. Thanks to its high quality, the BMW E30 is still a popular classic in the car tuning scene today. There was never a coupe of the E30, the product range only included a 4-door and a 2-door sedan, a convertible and of course the E30 Touring.
Buy BMW E30? With tuning?
The M3 stood out not only for its engine, but also for its unmistakable design. The fenders were greatly widened and the M package and the striking rear spoiler complimented the overall package of the sports car. The tuning scene of the E30 is often based on this design, many E30 owners give their jewel a true M3 look. Others prefer the classic look of the oldtimer, with chrome elements and only minor changes, the E30 is worthy of its H license plate. Tuning professionals, who did not want the 170i's 325 PS and did not want to invest a ton of money in the E30 M3, often made an engine conversion. Especially good are the powerful engines of the E36 series, they are relatively cheap to buy and provide enough power to have fun on the track. The autotuning of the E30 is particularly popular as almost every age group is represented in the scene. Good E30 models have shot up in price significantly over time, who still finds a good E30 with little rust today, can be really lucky.
