After a 10-year career as a designer, Marius Dumitrascu, owner and namesake of the company Marius Designhaus, decided to give the tuning industry a breath of fresh air. Marius Dumitrascu has made it his business to use the highest quality and sophisticated design to counteract, according to his own statement, “below average quality and questionable design” in the tuning industry. The first vehicle was the Lamborghini Ursus with the MD1 body kit and only three months later the widebody followed Mercedes-Benz G-Class as MD2. With the presentation of the G-Class, MD also founded the sub-brand "MD Forged", which focuses on the production of high-quality forged wheels. Another statement from MD is: “What we offer is not just a beautifully designed product, but also one of the highest quality that money can buy.” It will be interesting to see whether the (as of 2020) still young tuner will join the Establish a market in the long term.
