ralliart

Mitsubishi Motors operated the Ralliart label as the motorsport division of the Japanese manufacturer. Ralliart was like the tuning arm of Mitsubishi Motors. Until 2005 there was even the German customer sports subdivision Ralliart Germany. It was located in Trebur in connection with the German Mitsubishi importer. At the end of 2005, Gassner RalliSports GmbH and its managing director Hermann Gassner (multiple German rally champion), based in Ainring, Bavaria, announced the official successor to Ralliart Deutschland GmbH. Mitsubishi completely discontinued its in-house high-performance and motorsport division in 2010. In 2021, however, Mitsubishi announced that they wanted to bring back the famous “Ralliart” sub-brand in order to bring more “Mitsubishi-ness” to the model range. Specifically, the Diamond brand, which is part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi-Allianz announced a realignment in 2020 to revive the Ralliart division, especially for Japan (as of 2021). One can be curious!
