Incredibly cool: 1934 Ford Tudor Street Rod with V8!

We think this unique piece is so incredibly cool that of course we can't withhold it from you. The vehicle is complete restored and rebuilt 1934 Ford Tudor than ultra cool Street Rod with a fat V8 under one not available Hood! You can see the vehicle and the story behind it for a few days on the channel of Hand-built cars on YouTube, which occasionally presents various Ford projects from the 1930s, among other things. But we think this 34 Tudor Sedan Street Rod with supercharged 427 Coyote V8 is particularly successful, so we show it to you. Classic car lovers with a certain penchant for hot rods will of course recognize the homage to the well-known "Renaissance roadsters". It is also known as the "1933 Ford Roadster - Renaissance Roadster". But of course the Renaissance Roadster came along not from the Ford assembly line.

1934 Ford Tudor Street Rod with V8

He was one Special design with a special chassis and body parts handcrafted from scratch. The construction takes almost four years and consumed around 20.000 hours of work. The result was then in 2017 with a BiColor paintwork in PPG violet red and dark cherry / black presented and the vehicle won the Ridler Award 2017 at the Detroit Autorama.

There is a video of the vehicle at the end of the post. But let's get back to the 1934 Ford Tudor Sedan. The first thing that strikes you about the Street Rod project is of course the special look created by the supposed 427c.i. SOHC engine arises. But the 427 is actually a 5,0 liter Coyote V8, which is based on a 427 company name and a visually matching conversion, among other things by means of 427 valve covers with Hollywood Hot Rods adapters, pleased. A spectacular one was also installed Whipple compressor and the results are tight 500 PS Power. Further details are a subtle one Chopping (Wedge-Top-Chop), there were one-piece Fenders and running boards and a handmade one Steel dashboard.

The vehicle is on a modified one TCI chassis with independent suspension in front, one 9-inch rear conversion and has Wilwood disc brakes installed. The classic is equipped with Wheel Vintiques spoke rims in the format 16 inches at the front and 17 inches at the back, those with Dunlop are equipped. One installed in the cabin Custom dashboard with ads from Classic Instruments and also a Ididit steering column and a Custom drop-down center console with Alpine audio system can be seen. More details are a Vintage air conditioning and an electronic one PCS selector lever. The brown one comes from Scott Divers Leather seats with dark gray fabric. By the way: the 1934 Ford Tudor even has a hood. So far nobody wanted to see them, which we can understand. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report.
