Rumors about the F10 M5 from tuner Simon Motorsport began to emerge in September. A video, a few pictures and performance data that must have been created beyond various tuning boxes. Since a tuning box can only increase performance in the tolerance fields of the original engine software, something around 700PS is currently over with the F10 M5.

The tuner Simon Motorsport has allegedly succeeded in putting an M5 with 800PS on the wheels. That would indicate a "real" chip tuning, and that in turn would mean the encryption of the BMW software would finally be cracked. Too bad that no further information has been received since September. We are of course very interested in how the 4,4-liter twin-turbo V8 should achieve an output of around 800 hp and 1.000 Nm. The installation of your own exhaust system and the omission of the catalytic converters certainly bring a few horsepower but certainly not such a jump. We are curious about new information and try to be one of the first to publish this information here.
