And once again comes a fascinating car from BMW from Abu Dhabi. This time it is a M2 F87 Coupé which was exhibited in the showroom and impressively shows how tuning can be operated directly from the factory. Almost all additional components can be ordered from the accessories catalog from BMW and give the M2 an even sportier appearance. Of course, the biggest conspicuousness is the decal sticker in the BMW M Motorsport Design the front, on the sides and the bumper back finds. Even the black BMW M Performance kidneys, with their white painted edges, carry the unmistakable look. In the fenders, however, black gills were installed.
And the carbon fiber attachments on the front apron, the subtle side skirts, the spoiler lip on the boot lid and the stylish mirror caps come from the BMW M Performance shelf. At the rear, a carbon diffuser was also installed that comes from Akrapovic and fits snugly around the new sports exhaust system with its carbon tailpipes. Although there are optional accessories from BMW M Performance in this area as well, Akrapovic was chosen for both the exhaust system and the diffuser. No wonder, the Slovenian manufacturer's sports exhaust system is ideally convincing with an increase in performance of 6,8 KW & 8,8 NM and, incidentally, weighs 5,3 kg less than its series counterpart. The chassis of the sporty Munich was also replaced and replaced by a BMW M Performance coilover kit that allows it to be lowered by up to 25 mm.
The chassis is also ideal for the racetrack because it is possible to set the rebound stage 16 and the compression stage 12, and thus find an optimal set-up for every situation. Finally, there was a brake system that also comes from the BMW M Performance shelf and with sports brake pads ensures an even better braking distance. The M2 impressively shows what is already possible ex works and how individually vehicles can be configured nowadays. If we get more information about other modifications to the M2, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. - BMW M Performance kidney with white trim, gills in black
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)

And the interior is also impressive. Here are a lot of carbon parts again and also the blue contrasting seam, which is found everywhere in the interior, gives the vehicle an individual touch. A highlight, of course, is the sports steering wheel with its Alcantara insert and the blue 12 watch mark.
