It's been 5 years since BMW presented the current M6 F13 Coupe / Cabrio to the public. Like the M5 F10, the 6 Series is likely to be replaced by a new series (type G14) in the near future. It is currently assumed that this will take place in the summer of next year. Until then, many tuners try to convince us that the 6er with some accessory tuning parts is anything but "or“Looks and, you are absolutely right. And what first thought comes to mind when you dive into tuning? For the masses, including myself, there is the sporty, sound-rich exhaust, the lowered chassis and of course a significantly increased performance (Chiptuning etc.) are high on the list of priorities. Tuning also means that the vehicle should receive a highly personal touch. The viewing angle of each individual vehicle owner is just as individual. Although statistics are mostly incidental, they should not be underestimated. After all, we are talking here of 60% of all Tuningbegeisterten who first granted their car a new set of wheels and later dealt with the further measures such as chip tuning, etc. In comparison, the dimensions of the replaced rims are at least 1 inches above the sizes of the factory-original rims.
HRE P101 rims & 560PS
The often extremely price-intensive investment hardly leaves any deterrent marks because it actually pays off in retrospect and the design of the car is then presented in a remarkably new luster. The decisive factor for the highly frequented exchange of wheel sets is likely to be, among other things, the suitability for the masses of the standard rims, which are often presentable. However, the manufacturer orients itself more towards the large target groups and less towards the individualists. On top of that, the rim selection is made using the manufacturer configurator and that was of course also the case with this M6 F13 Coupe.
If you put your vehicle together using a configurator, there is ultimately hardly any space for a distinctive uniqueness. However, there is still a possibility to swim against the current and to be able to detach yourself from the general public. The plan B of the owner of the 6 series includes a view of the HRE range of products. Thanks to the perfect combination, the piece of jewelery is now presented even better with a HRE Performance Wheels wheel set of type P101 in Satin Black and the size of 20 inches. The additional modifications recognizable in the pictures such as the black kidneys or the subtle lowering make the production model an impressive eye-catcher. Of course, the 6 Series also owes the newly gained dynamics and the even sportier driving experience to the P101 wheelset. No wonder, because the rims from HRE are not only known in tuner circles for their first-class quality and, above all, for an exquisite range of products. With these respectable alternatives, the standard wheelsets are quickly overshadowed by the new rims.
