It's been 40 years since the BMW Art Cars story started. And this year the story received two new chapters. And maybe the next Art Car (number 20) will be the new BMW M8 GTE? In January this will make its debut on the racetrack and also at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, the, over 500 PS strong, M8 will be represented naturally. That a kind of car based on the BMW M8 GTE can have its right to exist shows us Monholo Oumar with some Photoshop designs.
For Deviance Artworks Monholo Oumar was able to give free rein to his creativity, and the result is really impressive. The inspiration came from earlier Art Cars, which were almost always very colorful. In reality, the M8 GTE would also be extremely noticeable at first glance and clearly stand out from the rest of the field. The virtual study comes in light blue, bright yellow and red and impressively shows the potential of the design of the new GT racer. The M8 from Monholo Oumar, however, cannot be associated with a possible next Art Car, but completely fictitious.
The design as well as the basis for the next Art Car can not really be foreseen at the moment. As there have been 2 vehicles this year, there may be a break on the way to 20. Copy perhaps also conceivable. If we still get details about the design, or maybe information on the next official Art Car from BMW, there is of course an update for this story.
