Forget various Sports exhaust systems, performance improvements or whatever for the current Cadillac CTS-V! D3 Cadillac built for the guys from BJ Motors in Texas a wide-building CTS-V that can be seen properly and has all that inclusive. In the style of the old model the tuner has now tampered with the 649PS strong 2016 model and makes the subtle Limo look extremely brutal. But not only the optics have gotten a lot but also the technology of the 6,2-liter supercharged engine, which originally comes from the Corvette Z06. With chip tuning, a 9,5 inch pulley, a new intercooler and a lot of other changes, the American's performance jumps to a whopping 725PS. The main focus is definitely on the handmade widebody kit that was tailored to the body of the CTS-V. The body kit consists of a front spoiler, widened front and rear bumpers, additional side skirts, widened front fenders (with gills) and at the rear, a beefy bonnet with power dome, a black radiator grille and a diffuser integrated in the rear bumper. The new 19 inch Forgeline alloy wheels were fitted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in the extreme 305/35 / R19 and 345/30 / R19 format and consistently bring the performance to the road. So that the whole thing comes to a standstill, an optimized Brembo brake system with orange brake calipers was installed. The fact that the brake discs are the size of a pizza need not be mentioned separately here. The team from D3 Cadillac & BJ Motors has published the fat CTS-V the days and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the pictures and even a video on the test bench. After the extremely elaborate and comprehensive tuning cure that the CTS-V was allowed to endure, it is now visually much more beefy, much more individual and dynamic than the production version, without being exaggerated or even chubby.
725PS & widebody kit
So if you have been secretly thinking of buying a current CTS-V for a long time or are even happy owners, the D3 Cadillac and BJ Motors are certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model. And for all those who are not necessarily located near the two American tuners, the vehicle may serve as a tuning template for the tuner on site.
