Super duty optics on the classic Ford Bronco Restomod!

Typically, this Single copy will be auctioned on January 15, 2022. And on one Mecum auction. The vehicle is a rather unusual Ford Bronco than Restomod Year of construction 1978. The side of the vehicle unmistakably shows the box-shaped body of the classic off-roader of the second generation, but the front houses the headlights, the radiator grill and the apron from a current super duty. And that goes for them too tail lights, the rear apron and for the interior. Because the cabin also comes directly from a modern F-series Ford. But let's stay with the outside for the time being! At first glance, almost everything looks like a typical 78 Bronco when viewed from the side. At least until you can the front looking at. The frontal view is so changed that one might think that it is a newfangled vehicle from Ford Company.

Great duty swap at the old Bronco

Regardless of whether Grille design, chrome apron with fog lights or the big ones Headlights, a 2018 F-250 Super Duty hardly looks any different. Just the design of the bonnet has been modified due to the design and the embossed "SUPER DUTY" lettering on the front edge is also missing. As already mentioned, the chrome bumper has integrated fog lights and one that works winch.

And under the hood? There is also modern technology built in. And here is a Ford Motorsports Coyote 5.0 liter V8Crate engine, the factory 460 PS and 569 NM torque delivers and to a Stainless-steel sport exhaust system is coupled. The engine is coupled to a current one Six-speed automatic and the unique piece brings the performance to the road all wheel drive and chrome wheels and Offroad tires. And of course there is also a custom-made one Suspension installed as well as a modern one Bremsanlage with disc brakes all around.

And as already mentioned is that too Cabin completely new. Because here you don't see the continuous bench and the typical box-shaped look of the 70s, instead you can enjoy a modern one Infotainment system and modern Instruments and Switch. To do this, you take a seat on one of the seats King Ranch amenities the F series. In terms of color, the entire interior shines as a mix Dark brown and burnt orange with some black accents. There is also a leather-covered one at the back Bench. And finally ... All in all, not a bad vehicle, but whether the modern look of the classic Bronco meets the tastes is questionable.
