With the Grand Cherokee SRT and the bombastic Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, Jeep has two breathtaking performance SUVs at the start. You often compete against athletes on the drag strip and have already caused a lot of puzzled looks. And now the exhaust manufacturer AWE Tuning, based outside of Philadelphia, has released a new sports exhaust for the WK2 Jeep Trackhawk and the SRT. This should enable a typical muscle car V8 sound for the SUVs with HEMI drive. The system comes with a special H-tube design and was made to go hand in hand with Mopar Developed for use with the factory end pots.

12 HP and 15 NM torque in addition

But AWE also offers double-walled 5 inch (approx. 13 cm) tailpipes in chrome silver or diamond black with new tailpipes, if desired. The complete system generates additional 3 HP and 16 NM torque "on the wheel" on the SRT and even 12 HP and 15 NM on the Trackhawk. The AWE exhaust system was developed in the USA and is also manufactured there. It is crafted from handcrafted 3 ”CNC mandrel curved and USA made 0,065” T304L stainless steel. AWE guarantees that no malfunctions will be displayed and buyers even receive a lifetime guarantee on the system.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
