The in-house Tuningschmiede of Jeep calls itself known Jeep Performance Parts (better known as MOPAR) and has tuned the classic Wrangler neat to ensure more off-road capability. The full name is now Jeep Wrangler Maximum Performance and let the off-roader nibble properly. Jeep Performance Parts has two electronic "Dana 60" locks installed on the front and rear. The maximum reduction is increased to breathtaking 70: 1.

Incidentally, such a blatant reduction is made possible by means of an interposed "4: 1 Rock Trac" gear. A “Stinger” ramming bar was attached to the outside, as well as a very robust underrun protection. The "Rubicon" side protection bars and the "Flattop" fender kit also contribute to the robust appearance.

The factory output of the 3,6 liter V6 engine with 289 hp / 353 Nm torque has not been changed. The eight-hole beadlock rims also prevent the rims from twisting in the tire. The ring of the rims was adapted to the car color.

The inside of the jeep was also kept in blue, even the seams of the seats are in the same color as the car, so to speak. The instrument panel and the gear stick as a contrast to the black accents determine the satin look. The whole thing is still a prototype but we strongly assume that it will not be long in coming in this version.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
