Reading time 2 Min.

The absolute cult model of the 70s is the Porsche 911. Kremer Racing took on this 40 years ago and turned it into a brutally consistent driving machine! Even after 40 years it is hardly more martial than racing around the corner with this boxer Porsche 911 3.0 RSR.

As early as 1975, the brothers Erwin and Manfred Kremer created the Porsche 911 3.0 RSR with the aim of driving LeMans' 24h. The pilots Billy Sprowls, Juan Carlos Bolaños and Andres Contreras even managed to finish in ninth place among the top 10.

The now completely restored 911er has a total value of about 500.000 €. The made of fiberglass car is in a mint condition and has the starting number 5. The performance data of the 911er are still up-to-date even after 40 years:

  • Total weight 960kg
  • 0-100km / h in 5,2 seconds
  • 280-300 km / h V-Max depending on the ratio

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
