HRE rims & Weistec tuning on the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R Pro!

This specially painted one 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R Pro is currently for sale. And in our opinion, the vehicle is one of the most beautiful that we have seen so far based on the AMG GT R. Specifically, the Stuttgarter is just on Bring a trailer offered, with approx. 9.000 miles (approx. 14.481 km) mileage. Compared to the usual AMG GT vehicles, this example is not painted in black or silver, instead the athlete shines in the beautiful Northern Lights Violet Metallic. And since it is one GT R Pro is, the paintwork is covered with a large number of visible carbon parts such as the roof, the front splitter, the Fender openings or the enlarged one rear diffuser combined. And then there would be the colour-contrasting one wheelset. However, these are not the AMG standard rims, but forged wheels off the shelf of HRE Performance Wheels.

Specifically, they are bronze-colored HRE P104 Forged Wheels, which measure 19 inches on the front axle and fill out the 20-inch format on the rear axle. The wheelset is also equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Incidentally, the AMG GT R Pro is factory-fitted with rear-axle steering and an optional AMG high-performance ceramic sports brake system. Instead, there were no changes in the cabin. However, that is not necessary either. Because electrically adjustable and heated ones are installed ex works AMG performance sports seats in a combination of black nappa leather and inserts made of Dinamica suede. The sporty look is offset with yellow contrasting seams. And yellow is also available on the Dinamica sports steering wheel in the form of a yellow one 12 o'clock marker. And under the hood? Of course, the well-known 4,0-liter BiTurbo V8 works there, which in standard form delivers 585 hp at 6.250 rpm and 700 Nm of torque at 5.500 rpm.

Chip tuning and custom downpipes

However, this vehicle has received an extra dose of performance. And in the form of one Tuning from Weistec Engineering. In addition to a special Chip tuning software you add the increase in performance down pipes and should therefore be in the range of about 700 PS land. Specific key data on the performance of the 178 DE 40 AL-V8 however, we miss. And by the way, there were no changes to the AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which sends the power exclusively to the rear wheels. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
