Anyone who is currently looking for the top-of-the-range model of the S-Class should still have a representative V12 engine (W222 M 279 E 60 AL) please. Whether that will be the case with the next generation of the S-Class, we dare to doubt it. Reason enough that we look at the Mercedes Benz S65 AMG W221 from the tuner TIP Exclusive take a closer look. The company applied exactly this type of tuning to the vehicle, which, in our opinion, is worthy of an S-class. No huge aprons in front and behind, no conspicuous foiling and certainly no mega brutal lowering with which a comfortable driving style is unthinkable. Painted in the special color graphite metallic, the S65 AMG stands on polished OEM forged wheels from the Maybach sub-brand.

The visual highlight of the rims is the almost completely closed surface which only has ten small openings at the edge to allow the brake system to carry off the hot brake air. The exact dimensions of the rims are 8,5 × 20 inches at the front axle and behind stately 9,5 × 20 inches formats fill out the bulky wheel arches. Of course, a lowering should not be missing so that the wheelset optimally seated in the wheel well, here it was decided to persuade the standard air suspension by electronic adjustment to let the S65 AMG a few inches in the direction of the road. And also on the body, one has tried, but also here is everything very discreet.

The rear got a sporty diffuser made of real carbon fiber and in connection with the AMG bumper, and of course the matching AMG sports exhaust system, the "PO" of the S-Class is now subtly modified. And there was another change, but this took place under the bonnet. The 6,0l M 275 biturbo V12 was persuaded to shake 700 hp instead of the standard 630 out of its sleeve by means of an increase in performance. While the production version of the S65 accelerates to 4,4 km / h in just 100 seconds, the TIP Exclusive copy is likely to scratch the 3 second mark. Of course, if we get more details about the changes, there will be, as always, an update for this report.
