The few Super Bowl fans in Germany can remember it. As part of the 49. Super Bowls showed at 1. February 2015, Nissan the advertising "With Dad". For us one of the best advertisements ever and unfortunately far too little played in Europe. At the end of the advertisement, you could see the current generation of Maxima, which Nissan then presented officially with pictures after the Super Bowl. The Limo had its real trade fair premiere at the New York International Auto Show in the same year. In the summer of 2015, the Maxima went on sale, but with the sad fact that the eighth generation is not offered in Europe and can only be imported. On the website of the rim label Ferrada we discovered a maximum over the weekend that makes this fact even more difficult. In addition to an extreme lowering and some changes to the aerodynamics, the futuristically styled sedan has received a set of Ferrada Deep Concave Series FR2 rims that are exactly the right size with their 20 inch format, as we find.

Apart from the lowering, which in our opinion has been achieved by Airride air suspension, and the new wheelset, there are, as already mentioned, a few more details. The front bumper got a large front splitter which is held by two additional struts and beyond there was a roof spoiler at the rear and a spoiler lip on the boot lid and a diffuser was integrated into the rear apron. If you look closely you can also see that two large tailpipes were installed and we assume that this is not just about tail but a complete sports exhaust system. But as for the lowering we are currently no information known so we leave you at this point with the pictures alone. 🙂 If we still get some details about further changes, there is of course an update for this post. About the update you will be informed if yours Feed subscribe to. We hope you enjoy watching.
