Porsche 997 3.8 S GT3 with 372PS & 418Nm by Mcchip-DKR

Reading time <1 Min.

The team around Mcchip-DKR SoftwarePerformance has recently introduced a new performance-enhanced car on its side. You can see a modified Porsche 997 3.8 S which is now on the road with 372PS & 418Nm and at least has 17PS and 18NM torque more than the series. At first glance that doesn't sound like a lot, but since the car is equipped with a naturally aspirated engine, high performance jumps as with turbo engines by changing the software are unrealistic. The company didn't really post a lot more details, but what was important was included. What we have been able to find out and have recognized ourselves, we provide you in a summary below. We also miss something, so should you discover any further changes, we would be happy if you let us know in the "comment box".

These are the details we know:

  • unknown subtle lowering (coil springs, sport springs or coilover !?)
  • unknown front spoiler
  • Performance increase from 355PS & 400NM to 372PS & 418Nm - (chip tuning)
  • possibly a sports exhaust system (info is still pending)

We have written to the tuner and asked if he can send us more details about the conversion.

Certainly, new information and certainly new pictures and videos will soon be online. As soon as this is the case, we will of course put it online and inform you about it.

His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
