The eighth generation Toyota Hilux has been around since 2015 and you can see that slowly but surely. The facelifts that have been carried out since then in 2017 and 2020 have changed little. But if you want a real refresher, the Japanese tuner has it for you GMG Double Eight (GMG 88) now on bodykit at the beginning. And the kit leaves the Hilux like the larger and significantly newer one Tundra look. And we think it actually looks like another major facelift from Toyota. The highlight is the new one front apron with the massive octagonal grille with honeycomb pattern. A black one is also installed Underrun protection, there is one Toyota lettering in GR style and yellow Marker lights. Only the air scoop on the standard one bonnet is a bit oversized in our opinion.
Toyota Hilux with Tundra front swap
The rest of the body remains except for the fender flares largely unchanged. They are painted in body color and there was also a set for the vehicle from the pictures Beadlock alloy wheels with A/T tires and apparently one too riser kit. We assume that the body kit is compatible with all Hilux variants, including the GR Sport. The cost is around €1.630 for the front bumper and around €660 for the fender flares. There is also the scoop on the hood for about 400 € and a few smaller things. All in all definitely affordable and chic.
