390 NM: Toyota GR Yaris with KINTO FACTORY lineup

In a brief and concise announcement today, manufacturer Toyota announced that the GR Yaris has entered the so-called "Kinto Factory series“ is recorded. This means that as a GR Yaris owner you can now buy the software that was previously available to the GR Yaris Morizo Selection was reserved. Thus, every GR Yaris with the "GR Yaris Performance Software 2.0“ Be stocked with the torque from 370 Nm to 390 Nm elevated. And Toyota also mentioned that the software as a whole torque curve improved and not just the peak value. According to the Japanese, the maximum torque is increased in the range between 3.200 and 4.000 rpm, resulting in an overall "more relaxed acceleration“ should enable. And in general, the software can be used by a Toyota dealer to change a total of 27 combinations in terms of throttle response, torque distribution from all-wheel drive or electronic power steering.

And for a "small surcharge" the vehicle can even do one driving data analysis put together for the analysis of the perfect personal attitude. For this option, Toyota collects specific data when the owner drives the vehicle a predetermined route. The information is then sent to a GR workshop where the best of one of the 27 configurations can be adjusted. The latter option only costs around €100 while only changing to one of the 27 variants without analyzing the driving data costs about 60 euros. The most expensive is GR Yaris Performance Software 2.0 with a purchase price of around €1.000. The option currently appears to be available NUR in Japan.
