We are curious whether the announced new Scirocco will come next year at the latest, which may even have the same base as the Golf VIII. At least in 2013, that was still claimed in Wolfsburg, but there was no diesel scandal or various antitrust-questionable agreements in the room. In addition, the success of the VW Scirocco, especially in Europe, is certainly below expectations because the compact sports coupé was unable to match the success of the old Scirocco from the 70s. On the website of the rim label Vossen Wheels we discovered a Scirocco R which impressively shows that a successor is actually not necessary, at least in visual terms. In addition to lowering, this metallic blue specimen has received a set of Vossen Wheels VWS-1 alloy wheels that ensure a fresh look. The surface of the rims is painted in a light gold tone and the rim beds are polished to a high gloss.

Apart from the new wheel set, there was a significant lowering, a sports exhaust system with tailpipes in chrome and black VW emblems front and rear as well as many black accents that replace the standard chrome.
