Performance upgrades on vehicles from just about every vehicle category, we already know from the team around Mcchip-DKR SoftwarePerformance. It's about the tiny one Fiat 500 with 0.5l Engine high to 745PS Lamborghini Aventador! The tuner recently presented a new vehicle with engine tuning on its website that has only been available for sale for a few months. It caught the brand new Audi R8 V10 of the second generation (since 2015 with 5,2-liter V10 mid-engine) which after the modification can come up with strong 633 hp and 582 Nm and definitely for strange and puzzled looks from drivers of the same type However, with serial output of 540PS or the more powerful 610PS variant should provide. By the way, the increase in performance is available for both variants! The company did not post more details than the result of the increase in performance, but that's enough in that case. What we have been able to find out and have recognized ourselves, we provide you with a summary below as usual. Of course, we also miss something, should you discover any further changes we would be happy if you post them in the "comment box".

These are the details of the Audi R8 V10:

  • Performance increase from 540PS and 540Nm (or the 610PS version) to 633PS and 582Nm - (chip tuning)
  • possibly a sports exhaust system (info is still pending)

Update

News from 06.07.2017

As mentioned above, the Mcchip-DKR team has now also taken on an Audi R8 5.2 FSI V10 Spyder. It was about the "small" 540 PS / 540 Nm model that after an increase in performance makes a full 645 PS & 590 NM torque and thus significantly more than the R8 V10 plus 5.2 FSI Spyder with its 610 PS & 560 NM. While the top model accelerates to 3,3 km / h in 100 seconds, we trust the Mcchip R8 to shake the 3 second mark. And that should certainly also affect the top speed because while the 540 PS R8 version is allowed to run from the factory at 318 km / h, it will probably bring it up to 330 km / h. Have fun with the new pictures!

Maybe there will soon be an update with information and pictures. If this is the case we will of course also put it online and inform you about it.
