Jennie Kim, known as Jennie Ruby Jane or JENNIE for short, is a well-known artist in South Korea. The 26-year-old is a member of the girl group BLACKPINK, but has now also won the hearts of fans as a solo singer. As part of the special request offer, your very personal dream car based on the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo was created together with Porsche Korea. Discreet accents in the "color of your choice" Meissen blue on the exterior and interior as well as a cloud logo she created herself with "Jennie Ruby Jane" lettering are among the personal characteristics. The metallic black painted car bears the name "Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jennie Ruby Jane". It will be presented on the occasion of the start of BLACKPINK's world tour in the so-called "Special Request House" in Seoul.
Inspiring collaboration and creative exchange
“JENNIE had very specific ideas about her dream Porsche. The collaboration was correspondingly intensive and inspiring,” says Alexander Fabig, Head of Individualization and Classic at Porsche. “The exchange with international customers as part of these special projects is particularly exciting and enriching. Here, too, we were faced with challenges that we are happy to face and that motivate us once again as a team to be able to implement even the most creative wish.”
In a digital workshop lasting several hours, the experts from the special request team at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and the Style Porsche design department designed the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo together with the artist and put it together in detail. The vehicle was refined in the special request area of the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur workshop in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. “As an artist, JENNIE is used to creative exchange. She even brought a mood board to our meeting that visualized initial ideas and reflected moods,” says Grant Larson. Larson has been with Style Porsche since 1989 and, as project manager for special projects, is responsible for special requests within the design area.
"Being able to work so intensively on my very personal Porsche was a great experience," says JENNIE. “I am particularly proud of having designed the visualization of the clouds. I travel a lot all over the world - sky and clouds accompany me everywhere and are a beautiful symbol for these unique experiences. That's why I feel a special connection to them and I'm also passionate about photographing natural motifs."

JENNIE is an influential global icon representing a generation of young and creative opinion leaders and 'Generation Z' in Korea,” says Holger Gerrmann, CEO Porsche Korea. “I was impressed by their commitment and their ideas, which went into their very personal Porsche. With the new special request offer, we are pursuing the goal of enabling people with very different lifestyles to make their dream of the perfect sports car come true.”
Meissen blue color accents on the exterior and interior
Understatement was deliberately chosen for the exterior of the Taycan. The 21-inch Exclusive Design rims, which are painted Meissen blue, form a contrast to the black metallic paint. The "Electric" lettering on the driver's door, the model designation on the rear and the cloud logos on the B-pillars also wear this special blue from the "color of your choice" range. The illuminated lettering "Jennie Ruby Jane" is in the front door sill trims, and her nickname "NiNi" in the rear ones. At JENNIE's request, the Porsche typography of the current 911 generation (type 992) was used. The logo projector in the front doors throws the clouds onto the ground next to the vehicle. The name of the artist as well as "special request" are written on the wheel hub caps.
Interior in black, chalk and Meissen blue
In the interior, the combination of black, chalk and Meissen blue creates an elegant ambience. Only the seats and the upper part of the dashboard are finished in chalk. Meissen blue is used as an accent color on the trim parts in the door panels, the surrounds of the air vents, the cup holders and the 12 o'clock marking on the steering wheel rim. The clouds designed by JENNIE are embossed in the headrests. A special indoor car cover with this personal quote was also designed. Another special feature also illustrates the attention to detail in this project: On board is a black dog box for JENNIE's Spitz "Kuma" (Japanese for "bear"). Like the vehicle, it has color accents in Meissen blue, such as the name of the animal on the front. The cloud adorns the inside of the transport box.
