Reinterpreted - 2013 Dodge Challenger "Daytona"!

In America, the Dodge Charger Daytona with a 7,0 liter Hemi V8 engine is a legend! The Daytona is a sports car and muscle car from Dodge and the first generation was built for only one year. And that in 1969 with exactly 501 units. And the Daytona was really powerful. It was namely the first car in NASCAR history in 1970 to reach the 322 km / h (200 mph) mark. exceeded Has. On March 24.03.1970th, 2006 in Talladega. Then there was no successor for decades until Dodge presented the second generation based on the Charger LX in 2009, which was then built until 1969. Both vehicles were involved in various races. The 500 version participated in racing series such as the Good Sam Club 2006 or the NASCAR racing series and the 500 model, for example, in the Daytona XNUMX.

Originals cost up to $ 1 million

Only the 69er is a rare and valuable collector's item. There are a few vehicles that are traded for up to 1 million US dollars. In 2016, Dodge also offered the special models Challenger T / A and the Charger Daytona. But this example from 2013 is by far the most successful variant and much more based on the original design from that time as we find. The production vehicles from Dodge cannot keep up with that. In particular, of course, due to the high rear spoiler but also with the significantly modified front. The Charger received the so-called "Daytona Package" which provides a modern interpretation of the classic. And if we are not completely wrong, it is the so-called "Dodge Daytona Plymouth Superbird Complete Kit" from 3rd strike performance or Heath Performance Products (both are from the USA).

The kit includes a completely new front with folding headlights and of course the three-part Superbird Daytona rear wing that can be seen beyond the roof. There were also changes for the rear apron (Rear apron attachment in diffuser look) and a cover for the taillights and modified side skirts. Only the bonnet in Hellcat style is not part of the body kit. And the Charger was put on a set of 20-inch alloy wheels with Goodyear tires. Then the vehicle was painted white and the rear area with the wing was set off in red and of course not forgetting the Daytona lettering. There are also a few changes in the cabin. The most striking feature here is the new leather interior in white and red with Daytona lettering or the completely darkened windows all around. Cool thing! If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
