ŠKODA is further upgrading the SUPERB model series. The mid-range flagship can now be ordered with a new top petrol engine. The 2,0 TSI unit with 206 kW (280 PS) is available for the Style and L&K equipment lines as well as the SPORTLINE design line. The special model SUPERB PREMIUM EDITION and the plug-in hybrid version SUPERB iV receive new standard equipment and attractive options. The new four-cylinder gasoline engine 2,0 TSI with a peak output of 206 kW (280 PS) complies with the Euro 6d-ISC-FCM (AP) emissions standard. It is basically combined with all-wheel drive and transmits its power via a 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG). For the Style and L&K equipment versions, the new top petrol engine is available at the same price as the previous top engine with 200 kW (272 hp), which is no longer available. The new motor is also available for the SPORTLINE design line.
SUPERB iV with plug-in hybrid drive
From now on, ŠKODA will equip the SUPERB iV with plug-in hybrid drive with one eSounds which generates a specially designed engine running noise when the vehicle is stationary. A sticker in the fuel filler flap provides information on the possible types and strengths of current with which the vehicle can be charged, as well as the type of charging plug. New 17-inch light-alloy wheels in the Drakon design enhance the exterior of the SUPERB iV. In addition, customers can now order their plug-in hybrid including preparation for the trailer towing device - this applies to both the elegant sedan and the generous SUPERB COMBI. In the richly equipped PREMIUM EDITION, the ŠKODA SUPERB will drive even more dynamically with standard progressive steering and sports suspension. Outstanding comfort features such as 3-zone air conditioning, ventilated leather seats and a massage function in the driver's seat are now supplemented ex works by the convenience opening of the tailgate. The price advantage of the special model compared to a similarly equipped series version increases to 1.250 euros.
