In a spectacular duel recently arrived tuned BMW XM , and a Porsche Cayenne TurboGT each other, both no longer series. The BMW, a plug-in hybrid, is a winner BiTurbo 4,4-liter V8 on, which is already in the basic version 653 PS & 800 NM torque delivers and in this case it was even a limited one LabelRed with 748 PS & 1.000 NM. However, through chip tuning, the XM from the video achieves a performance of about 800 PS. The Porsche with VW EA825 V8, lighter, but with 650 PS and 850 NM torque inferior on paper, proved to be a worthy opponent. Blessed with down pipes, it still has less power, but benefits from its lower weight and agility.
BMW XM vs Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT
Both SUVs have one eight-speed gearbox and all wheel drive, whereby the XM with 2720 / 2795 kg empty weight is a real colossus. In contrast, the Cayenne Turbo GT is almost 0,45t easier. And the race delivered what it promised: The BMW did well and achieved a time of 11,371 seconds, while the Porsche with 11,621 seconds lay behind it. However, the following races showed the Porsche in top form, with a time of 11,168 seconds in the second round and 11,216 seconds prevailed in the third, ahead of the BMW 11,354 or 11,263 seconds.
