Fiat's 500e Gelateria Edition: sweet electric mobility revolution!

ice cream and electric cars – two things that are not necessarily mentioned in the same breath. And yet Fiat has merged precisely these two worlds. The 500e Gelateria Edition is a vehicle that delights not only the heart but also the palate. Fiat has managed to create one of its most famous speedsters, the 500e, in a mobile ice cream shop to transform. But not just any ice cream shop, but according to Fiat, "smallest gelateria in the world". The basis for the masterpiece of creativity is the Convertible version of the Fiat 500e. While it still exudes the charm of the original model on the outside, the Interior neatly remodeled. The result: A mobile ice cream shop bringing scoops to customers in the UK's low-emission zones.

Although the unique is compact, it has enough stock to carry up to 300 ice hungry people a day to use. A look inside reveals two battery-powered ones Chest freezers with a surprising capacity of 30 liters, which is about 8 gallons. This is where the delicious ice cream flavors are kept. And to stage the ice cream in a befitting way, there is one Retro Gelato Exhibition, protected by an elegant canopy. And while you enjoy your ice cream, you can sit comfortably on the sun loungers provided.

Design that brings back memories

What immediately catches the eye is the two-tone paint of the unique. The colors Light Blue and Creams reminiscent of the Italian gelaterias of the 50s. And the interior design goes hand in hand with the exterior. Everywhere the lettering "Ice-cream shop“Be it on the dashboard, the fenders or the doors. And a real eye-catcher is the individual glockenspiel with operatic tones. And because Fiat is serious about it, there is even one a new flavor of ice cream! Inspired by the traditional Turinese drink bicerin, the gelato consists of Coffee, Chocolate and warm oat milk. A combination that must be tried.

117 hp electric motor and 42 kWh battery

Technically, the vehicle remains true to the 500e series. With a 117 hp electric motor and a 42 kWh battery you have enough power. However, one should note that due to the additional Refrigerator and the increased weight the original WLTP range of 260 km is not fully achieved. In conclusion, the Fiat 500e Gelateria Edition is not only a response to the current environmental demands in Great Britain, but also shows how diverse and creative the automotive world can be.
