800 PS & 1.000 NM! G-Power Mercedes-AMG as GP 63!

With 63 hp and 4 Nm of torque, the Mercedes-AMG GT 4 S 290MATIC + 639-door coupé from the X 900 series is currently the most powerful horse in the Mercedes stable. Compared to the technically identical E63 AMG, the engine increases again by 27 HP and 50 Nm, which degenerates to 3,2 km / h in a sprint value of 100 seconds. Under the sheet metal, the body structure has been stiffened many times, the track and tires have been widened and now the rear axle is also steered. The sporty claim is underscored by a more aggressively tuned chassis and improved power distribution, and even an active rear spoiler has been thought of. Compared to the E63 AMG, the result means that everything looks a little more energetic and still does not lack the familiar Mercedes comfort. The driver and the passengers feel almost nothing of the impressive curb weight of a good 2,1 tons.

Tuning on the 4,0 liter V8 biturbo

And it is known that the 4,0-liter V8 biturbo (M 177 DE 40 AL) has become the general-purpose weapon of the Affalterbachers. In a modified form it comes in the C63 (W / S / C / A 205), GLC 63 (X 253), E 63 (W 213), G63 (W463A, S 63 (W 222) and even in the Aston Martin DB11 Coupé and Roadster: If you leave out the cross on the "S" of the X 290, there are still 585 hp and 800 Nm of torque available.GP 63“In addition, a maximum of 800 HP and an incredible 1.000 Newton meters of torque are possible. In this case, however, the option in Kühbach in the district of Aichach-Friedberg (Bavaria) must be selected. This is where G-POWER GmbH sits, which has a three-stage performance increase for the AMG GT 63. And the G-POWER upgrade is available for most of the AMG 63 models mentioned above that carry the four-liter M177 biturbo V8 under the hood.

maximum 800 HP and 1.000 Nm

Stage 3 is the strongest variant with the mentioned 800 HP and 1.000 Nm maximum torque. G-Power installs the in-house performance software GP-800 and also donates new turbochargers, downpipes, sports air filters and a rumbling stainless steel exhaust system to the AMG that ends in original AMG tailpipes. The result significantly increases the performance, the torque development and the response of the GT 63. If Stage 3 is one number too many, you can use Stage 2 grant an upgrade to 750 PS and also a maximum of 1.000 Nm, which is due to the installation of the performance software GP-750 and the G-POWER downpipes.

Stage 1 delivers 700 HP and up to 950 Nm

And as an introduction to 700 PS and up to 950 Nm torque, G-POWER has that Stage 1 as pure chip tuning using performance software GP-700 at the start. And visually, the team has something up its sleeve for the potent luxury liner. Namely 20 or 21 inch forged wheels. The in-house HURRICANE RR forged rims are installed on the vehicle and the HURRICANE RS will soon be joined by a second rim model in a filigree multi-spoke design.
