An AMG equipped with a 6,2 liter V8 (M 156)? This is undoubtedly an "authentic" AMG! And in our opinion, this honor also belongs to the newer generation with its "downsized" 4,0-liter V8 with BiTurbo charging. With the current C63, whose name alone seems ironic, we see things differently. But back to the main point: the robust one 6,2 liter naturally aspirated V8 has gained a passionate following, thanks in part to its smooth power delivery. And the C 63 coupé pictured was given to Senner Tuning, the specialists from Ingelheim am Rhein, by its owner in order to undergo visual customization and technical improvements.
Senner Mercedes C 63 AMG Coupé
Senner initially equipped the V8 coupe with one KW Variant 3 coilover suspension out, which not only ensures a deeper appearance. Thanks to adjustable compression and rebound damping, it also enables the C204 to have balanced, dynamic handling. The new tire/rim combination with the dimensions 8,5×19 inches and 235/35R19 and 9,5×19 inches and 255/30R19 fits seamlessly into the overall picture. on the Barracuda Inferno Y spoke wheels in classic silver, contrasting with the matt black bodywork without chrome decorations spacers assembled. And a slight adjustment to the wheelhouse was also part of the project. And Senner Tuning has the V487 originally equipped with AMG Performance Package and therefore 600 PS & 8 Nm by installing down pipes, sport catalysts and one Sport air filter as well as subsequent software optimization, even helped to improve performance!
524 PS and 635 Nm torque
Although tuning with naturally aspirated engines without subsequent installation of a turbocharger or compressor is not as effective as with turbo engines, the engine now delivers 524 PS & 635 Nm. And thanks to a power converter, the Mercedes responds even more powerfully by improving the response of the electronic accelerator pedal.
