The Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition already stole from them as a pace car NASA Championship Finals 2023 the show and is now in the spotlight again - this time at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show. The special vehicle is one of just 200 built for the US market in 2023. MORIZO works under the hood of the GR Corolla 1,6-liter turbocharged engine, the proud 304 PS and a torque of 400 Nm generated. This significantly exceeds the standard output of 370 Nm. It is characterized by the reduced weight of approximately 45 kg less than the series which was achieved through measures such as eliminating the rear seats. In addition, the pace car was equipped with special lights on the Carbon roof and a striking one inspired by Toyota's endurance racers Painted in red, white and black overdrawn.

The features ensure that it is unmissable on the racetrack. After being used as a lead vehicle for over 350 racing cars in the race in Pittsburgh International Race Complex in September, the GR Corolla is now at one of the world's largest motorsport industry meetings, the PRI Show from December 7th to 9th, in the centre. NASA CEO Jeremy Croiset expressed excitement about the partnership with Toyota: “Together we have created a cool way to allow sports car owners to enter the world of performance driving in a safe and responsible way. It was logical to introduce the GR Corolla Pace Car in the NASA booth at PRI this year."
