The topic of overlanding, off-roading, camping & Co. is hotter than ever. And in order to be able to counter the trend, Toyota presented a few other vehicles (see below) at the past SEMA car show (Specialty Equipment Market Association) at the Central Hall booth #22200 also the Tundra Trailhunter Concept. The Tundra Trailhunter concept exhibited at SEMA has a Trailhunter-specific off-road chassis, solid skid plates, a robust roof rack, new front and rear aprons, additional lighting and even a refrigerator and a roof tent will. As far as we know, Toyota wants to go well beyond the concept and under the new name trail hunters offer a variety of purpose-built pickups and SUVs in the future.
Toyota Tundra Trailhunter Concept
The vehicles are specially designed for outdoor enthusiasts who are looking for adventures off the beaten track and without electricity. The conversions are developed by Toyota itself and should be able to master any type of challenge in the outback due to their high performance. As part of the upcoming brand trail hunters There will be a wide range of products that offer the specific Trailhunter vehicle more versatility and protection combined with increased carrying capacity and various storage options for gear, recovery accessories and camping supplies. "Trailhunter vehicles will be outfitted straight from the factory to meet the needs of overlanding' said Marketing Manager Lisa Materazzo. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that the vehicle from the pictures is currently only a concept and Toyota has not yet announced or even produced a car, component or various accessories.
Associated Accessory Program (AAP)
It will be interesting to see which pickup and SUV-based vehicles the Trailhunter line will produce over the next few years. And Toyota also announced the Associated Accessory Program (AAP) which allows you to equip Toyota vehicles with third-party accessories. AAP will offer Toyota partner parts, components and accessories to further personalize and enhance the vehicles. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
