VW Golf Edition 50 (MK8): a special model is celebrating its birthday!

To the 50. Birthday one of the most successful automotive icons, the VW Golf, Volkswagen announces with the advance sales of the VW Golf Edition 50 a new era. Since its introduction in 1974, the Golf has made automotive history with more than 37 million units sold and is currently in its eighth generation. Now, just in time for the big birthday, VW is presenting an exclusive one special Edition, which shows the way into the future with state-of-the-art technology and a touch of luxury. Pre-sales of the facelifted Golf have already begun, with the five-door starting 27.180 EUR and the variant 28.280 EUR start. They come as standard as a manual transmission 1.5 TSI with 116 HP, equipped with 15-inch steel wheels, One 10,4 inch touch screen and digital instruments.

The Golf Edition 50, based on the Style version, stands out with a number of special features. 18-inch alloy wheels of the “Leeds” type, tinted rear windows, a illuminated radiator grille crossbar, illuminated VW logo and 3D plaque “50” on the B-pillars characterize the exterior. And put in the interior “Edition 50” logos in the front door sills, Brushed stainless steel pedal pads , and a black headliner subtle accents. A Plus package optionally provides another Panoramic tilting/sliding sunroof, IQ.LIGHT Matrix LED headlight , and a Head-Up Display for an even more refined driving experience. With the VW Golf Edition 50, VW not only honors the five decades of success of the Golf, but also promises fans and customers a future characterized by innovation, quality and exclusivity.
