Video: Nissan GT-R, McLaren 720S, Audi R8 - Drag Race!

Can a basically 14 year old Nissan GT-R R35 with Mat Watson from CarWow at the wheel, actually with a current one McLaren 720S or one Audi R8 keep up? Quite safe in series production not. But maybe with tons of tuning. The vehicle from the video has been incredible 1.600 PS (!!!) and kicks you 1.200 PS strong Audi R8 as well as a 1.100 PS McLaren 720S. All three vehicles are therefore extremely performance-enhanced and together bring almost 4.000 hp onto the road. That corresponds to a good 56 Ford Ka or 139 VW Beetles! Instead of 3,8 liters displacement, the GT-R V6 now has 4,1 liters and a new one Intake and exhaust system, huge turbocharger, reinforced transmission and racing tires installed.

At 1.750 kilograms empty weight, Godzilla is also the heaviest. The Audi R8 is around 100 kilograms easier and has the outstanding quattro all-wheel drive included. And this copy has a performance increase to about thanks to the new turbocharger and Co. 1.200 PS obtain. And last but not least, there is the McLaren 720S as the lightest but also the “weakest” car 1.100 PS. The racer, which weighs 1.400 kilograms, has one V8 engine with Stage 2 tuning installed. However, it only has rear-wheel drive. We can already reveal one thing: the quarter mile is completed in 8,9, 9,4 and 9,7 seconds. You can see in the video which time applies to which vehicle.
