The Alternative - ALPHA Atarius Widebody BMW 5er F10

If you would like to provide the BMW 5er F10 series with an extensive wide-bodykit, only companies like Prior-Design or Hamann Motorsport known. Not that their conversions do not look high quality and chic, but really many alternatives that set the design in relation to it, there is not really in this segment. Hardly anyone in this country knows the Spanish tuner Atarius Concept who has a quite respectable alternative in store. We already have the company from time to time berichtet and recently a completely refined Q7 (see below) presented with extensive widebody kit. Also for the F10 series, the Madrid-based company has developed a complete body kit and especially with regard to the PD5XXF10 body kit from Prior Design, the Spanish version is quite an alternative as we find it.

The tuner developed a new front bumper that is based on the design of the original M bumper, there was also a large front splitter and optional sideflaps. The front fenders are in one piece and wider than the standard parts and have integrated M5 gills. The built-in side skirts also come from Atarius and lead to clearly visible wheel arch extensions in the rear, which are attached to the side wall and partly to the rear door. The rear is also adorned with a completely newly developed bumper including large air openings that seamlessly connect to the wheel arch extensions. The bumper includes a diffuser with three large fins and a relatively large rear spoiler lip was installed on the trunk lid. A highlight are also 2 different hoods, each with a large air inlet in the middle. We particularly like the variant that is installed on the black M5.

In our opinion, the aluminum rims on the black model are about 1 inch too small and the lowering could be a bit more extreme, but both are changes that can be made without much effort and ultimately depend on personal taste and the area of ​​use of the vehicle. But even so, the M5 looks very consistent as we find and as already mentioned, the body kit could definitely be an alternative to the aerodynamic parts of the established German tuners. If we get more information about the modifications for the 5 series, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. • possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
• Sport exhaust system (with blue burnt tailpipes)
