Do you still have the extremely potent ASPEC PPV400 based on the VW Golf R MK7 from 2015 in memory? Tuner ASPEC has now presented an upgrade to a version made of full carbon that we really want to show you. The design has also been changed in some places and so, for example, the front bumper has slightly enlarged side air intakes and the bonnet also has two small air openings in the middle. In addition, there is a completely redesigned carbon radiator grille which, in addition to the "Aspec" logo, also continues to bear the VW brand emblem. Nothing has changed on the side skirts and the rear view also seems the same.
There is still the distinctive roof spoiler and the completely new rear apron including the sporty diffuser with three distinctive fins is unchanged. As already mentioned, the biggest difference between the PPV400S kit and the PPV400 version is the fact that everything now shines in the noble carbon fiber. The side view is rounded off with carbon mirror caps and the fact that neither the door handles nor the window frames shine with chrome frills. The presentation vehicle based on an MK7 GTI also got a stainless steel sports exhaust system with four chrome-plated tailpipes and a new set of wheels is installed. Unfortunately, we do not currently have any more detailed information on the rims, but we assume that the matt black aluminum is a one-piece 20-inch model.
Thanks to the discreet lowering, the wheel set sits perfectly in the wheel arch and the GTI looks even more aggressive. Unfortunately, we cannot say at the moment whether there was an increase in performance for this vehicle. But the 2015 PS "R" presented in 400 shows that you can also get a comprehensive one here Know-how owns. Incidentally, the body kit is also suitable for the "R" and with a high degree of probability also for all other MK7 variants. We do not currently have any more details about the ASPEC PPV400S. If we receive timely information on further changes not mentioned so far, there will of course be an update for this report.
