Can you still remember when we end of 2015 the spectacular Audi S4 B8 sedan in the DTM look of the tuner Allroad Outfitters Inc. presented? An extreme Aerowerks DTM body kit made of carbon and an even more extreme APR Performance GTC-500 carbon rear wing were the essential components that gave the brave sedan the look of a thoroughbred DTM athlete. For 2017, the A4 has a new design and is now available in IMSA-Style for a stir. And by that we don't mean the Ingolstadt-based advertising medium for the "Association for Internal Medicine Saxes-Acontent is “😅 but that one on the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA; German "International Motorsport Association") based in Braselton, Georgia.
The member association was founded back in 1969 and 20 years later Audi used the phenomenal 720 hp Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO (internal R5) in the IMSA GTO racing series, which was to contribute to the spectacular success of the Audi 200 quattro Trans-AM Connect to off paved roads and show what the Quattro drive is capable of. With seven victories in 1989, that was also evident, but since Audi decided not to compete in the two endurance races in Daytona and Sebring, the big winner at the end of the season was called “Ford” and not Audi. Reason enough for Audi to leave the American racetracks in 1990 and enter the German DTM with the Audi V8 quattro. So much for the history and the background of the motorsport stickers on the S4 ...

The rest of the vehicle seems almost unchanged, which means that the fat 12 x 18 inch Rays ZE40 alloy wheels including 335 Toyo R888 semislicks tires are still installed and the A4 is still lowered using KW coilover variant 3. We already knew two years ago that there had been an increase in performance for the Ingolstadt-based man, but we did not know the amount or the way. Now we know that instead of the standard 333PS brutal 470PS rage in the S4, which are achieved, among other things, using Magnuson TVS 1740 compressor, APR Stage 2+ chip tuning software, Borla sports exhaust system with valve control and high-quality Eurocode manifold. The tuner still brakes the whole load with the Stoptech Trophy brake system and large 355 mm brake discs and some RS4s would certainly be happy with this performance. - Adhesive in the style of the Audi 90 quattro GTO (IMSA)
- Performance increase from 333PS to 470PS (Magnuson TVS 1740 compressor, APR Stage 2 + chiptuning software, Borla sports exhaust system with damper control, Eurocode manifold)
- DSG gearbox adapted by software
- Recaro bucket seats
- Carbon interior details
- Thule ski box with Thule roof rack and two mounting rails for bicycles
- Lowering (KW coilover variant 3)
