Teaser: Audi RS E-Tron GT & Sport Quattro Ice Race Concept!

The Audi RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Concept is a spectacular vehicle that was revealed to the public in a teaser yesterday ahead of its full debut on May 28th. It is a modified version of the Audi RS E-Tron GT that has been optimized for use on ice and snow. The concept vehicle is inspired by the legendary Audi Sport Quattro, which dominated the World Rally Championship in the 1980s. The RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Concept features an eye-catching design that features a mix of grey, purple and white. The body has a special film sticker reminiscent of the shape of the Audi Sport Quattro. The wheels are likely to be studded to ensure maximum grip on the ice.

Audi RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Concept

The concept vehicle is based on the Audi RS E-Tron GT, which was launched in February 2021. The RS E-Tron GT is Audi Sport's first all-electric model and has impressive performance and range. The RS E-Tron GT has two electric motors that together deliver 646 hp and 830 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3,3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. The battery has a capacity of 93 kWh and enables a range of up to 472 km according to WLTP.

The RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Concept is not just a show car for one purpose, but is intended to take part in various ice races. Audi has even set up its own team for this, which is headed by Simon Bracco. Bracco is the head of the production line for vehicles with internal combustion engines from the B segment at Audi and is an enthusiastic motorsport enthusiast. He will drive the concept vehicle himself and compete against other electric cars. Tip: Audi also makes a matching Audi Sport Quattro with an electric powertrain.

Audi electrifies the future

The RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Concept is an example of how Audi combines tradition with innovation. The concept vehicle shows that electric mobility can not only be sustainable, but also exciting and emotional. With the RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Concept, Audi wants to present its vision of an electrified future and win new fans for the brand.
