Is a lowering and a set of Vossen Wheels alloy wheels actually a guarantee for a successful project? If you take the basis as an Audi RS5 coupe then you can actually ask this question with a clear JA answer! Best example is this red RS5 which was posted on the timeline of Vossen Wheels tonight and apparently by the tuner Ground car house was rebuilt. The Ingolstadt was given a dark gray set of Vossen VFS-1 rims in dark gray, which with the size of 20 inches have exactly the right ratio to the elegant body. So that the V8 Coupé doesn’t stand there on high legs, of course, a significant lowering had to be introduced. And hardly any tuner is as known for its Airride conversions as the team from "Ground car house“And so it was clear that an Airride air suspension from Accuair must also be used in the RS5. In the pictures, the chassis is of course set almost to the lowest point, but the big advantage is the option of being able to raise the RS5 to a normal level at the push of a button and thus bring the power of the 450 PS V8 adequately onto the road.
Nothing is more senseless than a car that can hardly drive due to an extreme lowering and loses contact with the road with every bump or has to be afraid of damaging the bumper etc. Although the RS5 has completely black tinted windows all around, these can be ordered from the factory in the USA on request and we therefore assume that this is not a tuning modification. Basically, you can say that a new set of alloy wheels and a lowering are definitely a guarantee that the two options of the RS5 mutate into an absolute eye-catcher. If we get information that more has been done, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
