B&B Jaguar F-Type - up to 471 kW / 650 PS / 800 Nm!

B&B Automobiltechnik has been successfully optimizing high-quality vehicles since 1984. And currently the Jaguar F-Type was in Siegen tuning operation and was modified in several performance levels. The 2-stage engine program includes in Level 1 the modification of the electronic engine electronics in connection with a slight increase in boost pressure and the change in the torque limit. In Level 2 there is a compressor change, combined with an increase in the charge jerk as well as the processing / optimization of intake routes and air ducts. Finally, the electronic engine control is adjusted to these changes. The specific details on increasing performance, but also on other optimizations, are listed at the end of the article.

Coil springs or chassis

In order to optimize the driving characteristics and the optics of the Jaguar F-Type, B&B offers an adjustable one Threaded sport spring set which offers the possibility of lowering the body between 5 mm and 30 mm. A Sport springswhich achieves a fixed height reduction of 20 mm on the front axle and 15 mm on the rear axle is also available. Wheel spacers including special wheel bolts (VA 30 mm / HA 40 mm) are also available to widen the track width of the standard wheels and thus improve the road holding and appearance. A significant improvement in driving behavior is achieved through the use of the B&B / KW coilover kit V3 achieved. The chassis is adjustable in height, rebound and compression. This chassis enables significantly higher cornering speeds and contributes significantly to greater driving safety.

maximum 650 PS & 800 Nm torque

The performance increases for the sporty British are in each case two steps and available for almost all engine variants and lead to a maximum of 650 PS and 800 Nm torque in the top model, the SVR, as Stage 2. This makes 575 hp and 700 Nm in series production. So equipped, for example, the sprint from 100 to 200 kilometers per hour is reduced from 11,8 to 10,3 seconds.
