APOCALYPTICAR - Audi R8 V10 Plus with over 1.000 PS!

R8 4S "Apocalypticar" with over 1000 PS

Curtain up for the Audi R8 4S "Apocalypticar" with over 1000 PS! It is the increase from B3AST² R8 from 2017 already pushed the Wheelsandmore to 800 PS and 810 Nm torque. But the upgrade from 2020 makes the tuning hearts beat a number faster. Once again, the steadfast 10-cylinder fuselage engine remains completely untouched, but this time there is a set of asymmetrically working turbos instead of a compressor, which are optimized with specially made water and charge air coolers. In addition, a new chip tuning software for the engine control and also the transmission control has been adapted again. In combination with a high-performance double clutch from Promax, huge 1050PS and 1000Nm torque can now be activated via a boost controller. That's enough for a top speed of a whopping 357 km / h. And thanks to Quattro all-wheel drive, the Ingolstadt-based driver does the sprint to 100 km / h in just 2,7 seconds, and 200 km / h takes just 6,3 seconds. Other spectacular key data are 100-200 km / h in 3,6s, 0-300 km / h in 14,2 s and from 0-357 km / h in just 20,3s.

FIWE forged wheels

As brutal the conversion under the hood, it is so subtle optically. The most striking feature are the hand-made forged wheels of type FIWE, which are installed in matt black. At the front there was the 9,5 × 20 inch format with 255/30/20 tires from Continental and at the rear there were significantly fatter 12,0 × 21 inches with 325/25/21 Conti slippers. And so that the wheelset sits in the wheel arch with millimeter precision and the R8 is even sportier on the road, KW suspension components were installed. However, there is currently no information available to us as to whether it is the adjustable lowering springs or whether one has opted for the coilovers adjustable in rebound and compression. Alternatively, a hydraulically adjustable high-end solution with lift function is also available for the R8. We currently have no further details on the Wheelsandmore R8.
