Deep innocence: BMW M2 Coupe with Airride & Vossen Alus

gegenüber Mercedes AMG A45 and Audi RS3 is, especially with regard to the A45, the M2 the candidate with the most understatement as we find it. Slightly larger air inlets in the front bumper, barely visible widened jaws and the typical M sports exhaust system with four tailpipes are not really as conspicuous as the extensive spoiler factory on the Stuttgart. All this is underlined when the M2 is painted in innocent alpine white. And just such an “innocent” specimen is now on the rim label's timeline Vossen Wheels found and the owner apparently wanted to maintain the "understatement" of the M2 with tuning. This is exactly why there were only a few subtle M-Performance parts and no wild spoilers or foils.

The most striking feature is the Vossen Wheels LC2-C1 wheelset with a beautiful "Gloss Clear Transparent" surface. The noble forged wheel set is installed in the dimensions 19 × 9,5 inches on the front axle and slightly wider 19 × 10,5 inches at the rear and sits particularly far in the wheel arch thanks to the extreme lowering. The fact that this lowering was not achieved with a set of sport springs or a coilover kit is obvious and so nothing else came up Airride air suspension for the potent Munich man in question. An Airride system has the decisive advantage that you can lower the M2 down to the last millimeter in the direction of the road at the push of a button, but if you wish, you can reach a "mobile" level again in a matter of seconds.

As already mentioned, the rest of the M2 is very discreet and there is a filigree carbon front splitter on the front as well as the obligatory black kidneys and gills from the M-Performance shelf. Even the inconspicuous approaches for the side skirts are made of carbon and the same applies to the sporty diffuser in the rear bumper. Everything is rounded off with a set of carbon mirror caps as well as body-colored side markings at the front. If we receive timely information about us previously unknown changes, there is, of course, as always, an update for this report.
